The Project Manager will be responsible for the
complete execution lifecycle of door installation projects
, including project planning, site readiness validation, vendor
management, installation execution, commercial billing, customer
coordination, profitability management, and overall project health
monitoring.
The role requires strong expertise in
architectural door solutions, installation management, contractor
coordination, billing management, and field team leadership
to ensure projects are completed safely, profitably, and within
committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Installation Management
-
Manage end-to-end execution of door installation projects from order
release to handover.

Review BOQ, project scope, drawings, hardware schedules, and
installation requirements.
-
Validate site readiness before material dispatch and installation
commencement.
-
Ensure installation activities are completed as per approved methodology
and quality standards.
-
Drive achievement of installation milestones and project timelines.
-
Conduct project review meetings with customers, consultants,
contractors, and internal stakeholders.
2. Site Readiness & Deployment Management
-
Monitor site readiness, access availability, finishing status, and work
fronts.
-
Ensure installation teams are deployed only at ready locations to avoid
productivity loss.

Coordinate with customers and site contractors for clear work fronts.
-
Track open sites, pending areas, and installation bottlenecks.
-
Minimize idle manpower and site hold-ups.
3. Vendor & Installer Management
-
Develop and maintain a strong network of installation vendors and
subcontractors.
-
Evaluate and onboard skilled installers for doors and hardware
installation.
-
Monitor vendor productivity, quality performance, and compliance.
-
Negotiate installation rates and service agreements.
-
Ensure adequate manpower availability across projects.
4. Commercial Billing & Revenue Management
-
Manage complete billing cycle from execution to invoice realization.
-
Ensure timely certification of completed installation quantities.
-
Coordinate with customers for billing approvals and milestone sign-offs.
-
Monitor project billing against monthly and annual targets.
-
Track outstanding receivables and support payment collection activities.
-
Maintain project-wise revenue and margin dashboards.
5. Project Cost & Profitability Control

Monitor installation costs, labor costs, travel expenses, and vendor
payments.
-
Ensure projects operate within approved commercial budgets.
-
Analyze project profitability and identify opportunities for cost
optimization.
-
Control rework costs, service call expenses, and material wastage.
-
Support management with project profitability reviews.
6. Team Leadership & Manpower Management
-
Lead Engineers, Site Supervisors, Coordinators, and Installation Teams.
-
Plan and optimize manpower deployment across multiple sites.
-
Conduct performance reviews and productivity assessments.
-
Drive accountability, discipline, and ownership within teams.
-
Ensure OJT (On-the-Job Training) for installation teams.
7. Quality & Customer Satisfaction
-
Ensure installation quality complies with approved standards and
customer expectations.
-
Monitor alignment, fitment, finish, hardware installation, and
operational performance of door sets.
-
Conduct pre-handover inspections and snag closure activities.
-
Address customer complaints and service issues promptly.
-
Improve customer experience through proactive project management.
