Commercial - GST + Accounting

Key Responsibilities

GST & Indirect Taxation

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, etc.).
• Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and GST portal.
• Ensure timely payment of GST liabilities and compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC), perform ITC reconciliations, and resolve mismatches.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities during GST assessments and audits.
• Stay updated with GST laws, amendments, notifications, and ensure organizational compliance.
• Prepare GST-related reports, reconciliations, and MIS.

Accounts Payable

• Process and verify vendor invoices with appropriate approvals.
• Ensure accurate accounting of purchase invoices and expense bookings.
• Prepare vendor payment schedules and process payments on time.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and internal stakeholders for invoice and payment issues.

Accounting & Commercial Operations

• Pass journal entries related to purchases, taxes, and vendor transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
• Prepare MIS reports related to payables, GST, and commercial operation
