Job Summary

Happiest Minds is looking for a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, processing large datasets, and implementing cloud-native data engineering solutions using modern big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS.
• Build and orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow .
• Develop high-performance data processing applications using Python and PySpark .
• Build and optimize big data processing solutions using AWS EMR .
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Databricks .
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of data platforms.
• Follow coding standards, CI/CD practices, and Agile development methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
• Experience handling large-scale distributed data processing workloads.
• Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
