Job Title: Software Test Automation Engineer
Location: Gurgaon

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled  Software Test Automation Engineer  with 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Cypress/Playwright, API automation, and database testing. The candidate will be responsible for building automation frameworks, improving testing processes, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications.
   
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
   
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Cypress and/or Playwright.
   
• Develop and execute API automation test suites.
   
• Perform cross-browser compatibility and accessibility testing.
   
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Scrum teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
   
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
   
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
   
• Contribute to QA strategy, process improvements, and automation best practices.
   
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.

Must Have Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation.
   
• Strong hands-on experience with  JavaScript / TypeScript .
   
• Experience with automation frameworks like  Cypress and/or Playwright .
   
• Strong knowledge of API testing and automation.
   
• Hands-on experience with:
   
• Postman
   
• Swagger / OpenAPI
   
• API automation frameworks/libraries
   
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
   
• Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
   
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control practices.
   
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based testing environments.
   
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
   
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
   
• Experience in cross-browser testing and accessibility testing.

Good To Have Skills:

• Experience with Python for automation scripting.
   
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
   
• Exposure to DevOps practices and Azure DevOps.
   
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Services.
   
• Experience with AI-based QA tools/testing approaches.
   
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools.
   
• Experience in designing and maintaining API automation frameworks.
