We are looking for a highly skilled  Senior Data Engineer  with strong expertise in  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)  to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with  Python/Java, SQL, PySpark, Airflow, and ETL pipeline development , along with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities
 

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on GCP.
   
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Python, PySpark, and Airflow.
   
• Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and implement robust data models.
   
• Build and manage cloud-based data solutions using GCP services.
   
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
   
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
   
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for data engineering workflows.
   
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues.
   
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and promote best engineering practices.
   
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
   

Required Qualifications
 

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Software Development.
   
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python/Java.
   
• 3+ years of experience building and managing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
   
• Strong expertise in Python or Java for data-intensive application development.
   
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Airflow, and ETL pipeline development.
   
• Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
   
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
   
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
   
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
