Job Summary:

As a Design Engineer specializing in Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping systems for Waste Water Treatment Plants, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of state-of-the-art treatment facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our projects meet environmental standards while optimizing operational efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and piping systems for new and existing waste water treatment plants.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to enhance project design and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of all engineering disciplines within project scopes.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and equipment selections to ensure compliance with design requirements and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in site assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards during construction phases.
• Provide technical support and guidance during installation, testing, and start-up of equipment and systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering for waste water treatment plants.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering design tools.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations such as EPA and ANSI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or working towards it.
• Experience with advanced water treatment technologies and innovative design practices.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Previous experience in fieldwork and overseeing construction and installation operations.
