Electrical Project Lead – Job Description

Role Summary:
Lead and manage the complete electrical engineering lifecycle for EPC projects—from proposal and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and project close-out. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end execution of electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Review and approve electrical design deliverables, technical specifications, and vendor documents.
• Monitor project schedule, cost, quality, risks, and resource utilization.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering guidance throughout project execution.
• Interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, HSE requirements, and project specifications.
• Mentor and lead the electrical engineering team while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in EPC/industrial projects with proven project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, substations, MV/LV systems, electrical equipment, and project execution.
• Experience managing projects from engineering through commissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
