SP3d Piping 3D Designer

Job Summary:

As a Piping 3D Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of complex piping systems in industrial projects. Utilizing your expertise, you will contribute to optimizing design efficiency, ensuring adherence to project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D piping models using advanced design software, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to create and review project designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Conduct thorough analysis and verification of design accuracy, including clash detection and resolution.
• Implement design changes based on technical feedback and project modifications while maintaining documentation accuracy.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations and reports.
• Support on-site construction teams by providing expert advice and resolving any design-related issues as they arise.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of timelines and milestones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-15 years of experience in piping design in a relevant industry, such as oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Sp3d, Revit, Microstation AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards, including ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within tight deadlines.
