Job Title: Piping Designer (3D Modeling) – Contract (1 Year)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Piping Designer with 4–10 years of experience in piping design and 3D modeling for EPC projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing 3D piping models, preparing piping deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Metals & Mining, or Process Plants .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models using industry-standard design software.
• Prepare piping layout drawings, isometrics, GAs, plot plans, and piping support drawings.
• Review P&IDs, equipment layouts, vendor drawings, and piping specifications.
• Ensure piping designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Generate piping material take-offs (MTOs) and other engineering deliverables.
• Participate in model reviews and incorporate client/engineering comments.
• Support project execution while meeting quality and schedule requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in 3D piping modeling using SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D, Cadworx, or similar software .
• Good understanding of piping layouts, routing, supports, and material specifications.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, piping standards, and engineering practices.
• Ability to interpret vendor drawings and engineering documents.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Industry Experience

• EPC companies in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Metals & Mining, Chemical, or Process Plants .

Qualification

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
