Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Structural Engineer – Water
with 5–7 years of post-master's experience in the design and analysis of
water-retaining and infrastructure-related structures. The ideal candidate
should possess strong technical expertise in reinforced concrete and steel
structural design, with exposure to multidisciplinary engineering projects
in the water sector.
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform structural analysis and design for water-retaining and
infrastructure-related projects.

Design reinforced concrete and steel structures, including:
-
Water tanks and reservoirs
-
Pumping stations
-
Treatment plants
-
Foundations
-
Slabs and walls
-
Chambers
-
Culverts
-
Retaining walls
-
Carry out structural calculations for:
-
Dead and live loads
-
Hydrostatic loads
-
Soil and surcharge loads
-
Wind and seismic loads
-
Uplift forces
-
Equipment loads
-
Foundation and earth-retaining structures
-
Ensure compliance with structural performance requirements, including:
-
Crack-width control
-
Water-tightness
-
Durability
-
Deflection limits
-
Stability
-
Flotation checks
-
Serviceability criteria
-
Prepare structural design criteria, detailed calculation packages,
reinforcement detailing, and technical specifications.
-
Review geotechnical reports and incorporate foundation design
recommendations.
-
Prepare and review structural drawings, reinforcement schedules, quantity
take-offs (QTO), and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
-
Coordinate effectively with Civil, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Electrical,
Architectural, and Process Engineering teams throughout project execution.

standards/codes will be preferred.
