Job Description

A Senior Manager in an SEO role typically responsible for leading SEO strategies, driving organic growth, and aligning the SEO initiatives with the broader business goals.

  • Plays a pivotal role in creating & developing SEO strategies that drive organic growth and align with the organization’s business objectives.
  • Develop impactful SEO content strategy based on business requirements & current trends.
  • Enhance the team's capabilities in producing successful SEO strategies & execution within deadlines constantly.
  • Create SEO content that engages the target audience and support business objectives.
  • Oversee, develop & execute content planning and creation while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements–Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a SEO Lead, strategist or on a similar role.
  • Handle a team and led marketing efforts ensuring overall organic growth.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing, Google Analytics & expertise in tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, screaming frog, Similarweb will be an advantage.

Additional Skills

  • Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Expertise in SEO, content marketing strategies, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Sitefinity & Strapi.
  • Strong creative vision with a keen attention to detail.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Core Responsibilities

  • Planning & developing a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, target audience and brand identity.
  • Completely own and implement strategic on & off page SEO and content marketing strategies that drives significant traffic to lead to sales.
  • Developing, tracking & monitoring SEO targets, including KPIs in alignment with business strategy.
  • Leading and building a successful team that gets the job done at any cost.
  • Staying ahead of industry changes and acting as our in-house expert on new approaches to SEO.
  • Driving brand awareness, engagement and lead generation through strategic content marketing initiatives.
  • Conducting organic market research and audience analysis at regular intervals to identify content opportunities and trends.
  • Creating high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding the market trends by doing competitor analysis and developing strategies to bridge the gaps.
  • Optimizing content for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop content that supports marketing initiatives, product launches and thought leadership.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to ensure timely delivery of content assignments and being stringent with quality checks before publishing on any online channels.
  • Publishing engaging and SEO-friendly content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts and email newsletters.
  • Collaborating with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets.
  • Monitoring and analyzing content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Managing and maintaining content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensuring content is organized and easily accessible for future use.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison for the chosen line of business or product between the marketing team, business units, and external partners, including freelancers and agencies.
  • Work closely with product, sales, and call centre teams to align SEO strategies with organizational priorities and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with compliance and underwriting teams regularly to ensure external communication aligns with company ideals and is devoid of any confidential company information.
