Senior Java Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing and developing scalable backend applications that drive the success of our products, delivering optimal performance and quality across our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices to enhance application performance.
• Drive system design and architecture decisions to ensure robust applications.
• Lead code refactoring initiatives and implement engineering best practices across the team.
• Mentor team members and conduct thorough code reviews to promote technical growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user expectations.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Extensive experience with MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of System Design, Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and Multi-tier Architecture.
• Proven track record of designing systems from scratch with ownership of architecture and scalable solution design.
• Experience leading large-scale code refactoring and driving engineering improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in D2C, FMCG, or Unicorn/Product-based startups is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments on large-scale applications.
