Demand Manager - Downstream Aluminium Business
Job Summary:
The Demand Manager for Hindalco Aluminium will play a pivotal role in shaping
demand planning and driving S&OP maturity within the downstream aluminium
business of FRP/Foils/Extrusions. This position is vital for enhancing digital
planning transformation and aligning operational feasibility with business
ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the Market and Insights Subject Matter Expert (SME) for aluminium
demand across all end-user segments.

Translate market intelligence, CRM signals, customer inputs, and statistical
baselines into a single consensus demand plan.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Planning, Operations, Finance, IT,
and S&OP teams to ensure alignment between business initiatives and
operational capabilities.

Utilize Blue Yonder and advanced analytics to enhance forecast accuracy,
develop scenario planning, and improve working capital visibility.

Lead the institution of new working methods in sales planning, demand
reviews, and S&OP governance.

Influence business decisions through robust data-backed narratives and
analysis of dynamic market conditions.

Maintain strong communication with CXOs and engage cross-functional
stakeholders effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred.

Extensive experience in demand planning, S&OP, IBP, supply chain, or
commercial planning within a complex manufacturing environment.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with large SKU and customer
complexities.

Strong analytical mindset capable of running what-if scenarios and building
data-driven narratives.

Hands-on experience with advanced planning systems, especially Blue Yonder,
is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and establish effective
planning processes.
