Supply Chain Manager - FMCG

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes within our organization. With a focus on demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination, you will ensure that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels, optimizing stock availability and reducing excess inventory.
  • Oversee inventory management practices, including stock control, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations to maintain the flow of goods.
  • Coordinate logistics operations, working closely with transport providers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of products.
  • Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to track supply chain performance, report on KPIs, and support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure service levels are met and resolve any supply chain issues promptly.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify improvements and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration initiatives with sales, marketing, and production teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven background in demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and other supply chain management software.
  • Excellent vendor management skills with a track record of maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of driving collaboration across departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Master's degree or additional supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management within supply chain initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices within the supply chain is a plus.
