Role Summary
We are looking for experienced Oracle Process Manufacturing Functional Consultants to support the rollout of Oracle OPM solutions across multiple downstream manufacturing units. The consultant will work closely with business users, plant teams, IT teams, and implementation partners to understand manufacturing processes, design Oracle OPM solutions, configure the system, support testing, training, data migration, and go-live activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 OPM and have participated in 2–3 OPM implementation or rollout projects .
Key Responsibilities
Understand business processes related to process manufacturing, including recipe management, formula management, batch production, quality, inventory, costing, and shopfloor execution. Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with plant users, production teams, quality teams, stores, costing teams, and finance stakeholders. Map business requirements to Oracle OPM functionality and identify gaps, process improvements, and configuration needs.
Configure and support Oracle OPM modules, including:
OPM Product Development
OPM Process Execution
OPM Quality Management
OPM Cost Management
OPM Inventory integration
Formula, recipe, routing, resources, operations, and batch setup
Support end-to-end rollout activities across multiple factories, including solution design, configuration, testing, user training, cutover, and post-go-live support. Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, user manuals, training material, and issue-resolution notes. Work with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and customizations.
Support integration with related modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, BOM, WIP, Costing, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance, wherever applicable. Assist in master data validation for items, formulas, recipes, resources, routings, quality specifications, batches, lots, and costing data.
Required Skills
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Process Manufacturing in Oracle EBS R12 .
Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 OPM implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects .
Good understanding of process manufacturing business cycles, preferably in metals, chemicals, cement, paints, food, pharma, or similar manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of:
Formula and recipe management
Batch creation and execution
Material consumption and yield tracking
Lot and batch traceability
Quality specifications and testing
OPM costing and cost rollups
Production planning and shopfloor transactions
Inventory and procurement integration
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, IT, or equivalent.
