About us
House of Biryan (Prosperous Brands Pvt Ltd) is a fast-growing, delivery-first
biryani brand around 30 cloud kitchens across India and 6 in Dubai, selling
through Zomato, Swiggy and the Gulf aggregators. The business runs on OPX, our
in-house operations platform: attendance, rosters, inventory and stock, store
maintenance, complaints, assets, HRM and a live command centre integrated with
Rista POS, delivery-platform data and in-store IoT telemetry.
OPX is entering a major modernize-and-scale phase as the brand expands across
geographies. We are hiring its founding full-time engineering team a small
crew of 2–3 engineers who will run, build and scale the platform end-to-end.
You will ramp up through a structured hand-over with real tasks alongside the
current engineering transition team, and then own the platform outright.
The role
You own the faces of OPX: a production Flutter Web application the daily tool
for stores, area managers and HQ across two countries and its companion
Android app. This is product engineering on a live system: extending,
improving and modernizing real screens people use every day, and shipping the
new modules the expansion roadmap needs.
You will
•
Own the Flutter Web app end-to-end: new modules (dashboards, inventory and
stock flows, complaint workflows, command-center views), UX quality, and
performance initial load, lazy loading, caching, large-table rendering.
•
Maintain and evolve the companion Android app (attendance and GPS use-cases).
•
Work brownfield-first: read existing code, extend it safely, and refactor
screens toward a clean state-management architecture as you touch them no
big-bang rewrites of a live tool.
•
Integrate against the OPX REST API; co-design contracts with the platform
lead; handle nested payloads, serialization, and empty/error/loading states
properly.
•
Build data-dense UI well: role-scoped dashboards, charts, filterable tables,
exports.
•
Add tests where they pay (widget and unit tests around business-critical
flows) and keep releases small.
Must have
•
2+ years shipping production Flutter/Dart applications, including at least one
you supported after launch.
•
Flutter Web experience strongly preferred (renderers, responsive desktop
layouts, browser quirks) or deep mobile Flutter plus clear evidence you can
cross over fast.
•
Solid state management (Provider, Bloc or Riverpod) and async, REST and JSON
fundamentals.
•
Comfort joining an existing codebase: you can navigate, diagnose and improve
code you did not write.
•
Design-to-widget fidelity (Figma or similar) and an eye for responsive,
data-dense layouts.
Nice to have
•
Charting and data-visualization libraries; Android release/Play Store
experience; localization.
•
Basic PHP/SQL literacy enough to read the API you consume.
•
QSR or retail-operations domain exposure.
Apply through whichever channel suits you best.
