Document Controller
Job Summary:
The Document Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring that all project
documentation is effectively managed and organized. This position is integral
to supporting design consulting operations by maintaining accurate records,
facilitating communication, and ensuring compliance with internal and external
documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and organize all project documents, ensuring they are easily
accessible and up to date.

Coordinate with design teams to ensure proper documentation flows through
all stages of the project lifecycle.

Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems in alignment
with organizational standards.

Review, approve, and archive project documentation, including contracts,
drawings, and reports.

Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders regarding
documentation status and requirements.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with document management
processes.

Train and support team members on document control procedures and best
practices.
Requirements:

A minimum of 7-12 years of experience in document control, preferably within
design consulting firms.

Proficiency in document management software and tools, with strong knowledge
of industry standards.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple
projects concurrently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
management.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to
work collaboratively in a team environment.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
