Trade Counsellor

Job Summary:

The Trade Counsellor will play a pivotal role in fostering international trade relationships, providing expert guidance to businesses on export and import regulations, and promoting the interests of local industries in the global marketplace. This position aims to enhance the organization’s trade objectives by facilitating access to crucial market information and resources for businesses seeking to expand their reach.

Key Responsibilities:

·          Offered Retail Trade & Forex solutions such as Imports/ Exports/ Bank

·          Guarantees A2 remittances, Currency Sale/Purchase,

·          Forex Cards, inward and outward Remittances etc.

·          Activation of existing customers on RTFX Products, training branch

staff and portfolio owners on the RTFX products.

·          Partnered with Treasury Desk for Forex Hedging and client-specific

pricing .

·          Conducted comprehensive analysis of global forex markets and

generating profitable trade opportunities across multiple currency

pairs.

·          Lead acquisition drives for New- to- Trade clients through collaboration

with branch banking teams and self sourcing.

·          Provided data-driven market forecasts and recommendations to clients

through technical and fundamental analysis.

·          Ensuring each of the mapped branches meets its RTFX income target

through new Customer Acquisition Joint visits/calls with branch staff

to prospective customers being acquired by the branch for pitching

RTFX products.

·          Delivered daily market reports, providing timely insights on currency

movements to support client decision-making.

·          Documentation & Approvals, guiding the customer on documentation

requirements for various RTFX products and related transactions.

·          Review and closure of all Trade Customer leads received from branch
