Teller

Job Summary:

As a Teller, you will be the face of our financial institution, providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions. Your role is crucial in building customer loyalty and trust as you assist clients with their banking needs and contribute to our commitment to a positive banking experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
• Assist customers with account management and provide information about products and services.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products, identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate solutions.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and follow proper procedures for cash handling and reconciliations.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Follow bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and security measures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and improve overall service quality.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking or financial environment.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications and banking software.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Teller or in a related banking position.
• Knowledge of bank products and services, as well as financial regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus, enhancing customer communication.
