We're on the lookout for a sharp, seasoned investigations professional to lead
high-stakes corporate investigation and
due diligence mandates from the front. If you can walk into a boardroom and a
crime scene with equal composure,
decode complex risk narratives, and turn raw intelligence into airtight,
client-ready reports — this role was written with
you in mind. Join a team where analytical rigour meets real-world impact, and
where your judgment calls genuinely move
the needle for clients navigating high-risk decisions.
✦ Drive corporate investigation mandates end-to-end — from scoping and
evidence trail mapping to closure, ensuring
every engagement is airtight, defensible, and delivered on time.
✦ Lead comprehensive due diligence assignments (pre-employment,
pre-transaction, vendor/partner, integrity, and
reputational) across sectors, applying a sharp eye for red flags and hidden
risk.
✦ Design and execute security risk assessments and audits — physical security,
operational vulnerabilities, and process
gaps — translating findings into pragmatic, actionable recommendations.
✦ Architect investigation methodologies and approach papers tailored to each
case — balancing thoroughness,
confidentiality, timelines, and cost.
✦ Own client relationships end-to-end: understand the brief behind the brief,
manage expectations proactively, and
become the trusted advisor clients call first.
✦ Lead ground checks and verification exercises — field visits, source
development, database checks, and discreet on-
ground enquiries — with unwavering attention to detail.
✦ Craft strategic investigation plans that anticipate roadblocks, manage
sensitivities, and stay several steps ahead of
the case.
✦ Operate with tact and discretion in high-pressure, confidential, and often
sensitive situations — knowing exactly
when to push and when to hold back.
✦ Produce sharp, evidence-backed, court-ready investigation reports that are
as compelling in the boardroom as they
are watertight on scrutiny.
✦ Present findings with clarity and gravitas to CXOs, legal counsel, and key
stakeholders — simplifying complexity
without diluting substance.
✦ 5-7 years of hands-on experience in corporate investigations, due diligence,
or security risk consulting — agency,
consulting, or in-house.
✦ Proven, in-depth command of end-to-end investigation lifecycles — case
intake, methodology design, execution,
evidence handling, and reporting.
✦ Strong grasp of due diligence frameworks, risk-scoring approaches, and
red-flag identification across financial, legal,
and reputational dimensions.
✦ Demonstrated exposure to security audits and risk assessments, with the
ability to convert findings into a crisp risk
register and mitigation roadmap.
✦ Exceptional client-facing skills — confident, articulate, and persuasive,
with the poise to manage sensitive
conversations under pressure.
✦ Outstanding report writing ability — structured, precise, and compelling,
with an eye for detail that misses nothing.
✦ Sharp strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to connect
scattered dots into a coherent, defensible
narrative.
✦ A natural investigator's instinct — curious, persistent, unbiased, and
comfortable navigating ambiguity.
✦ Bachelor's/Master's degree; certifications such as CFE, CII, or equivalent
will be a strong plus.
✦ Willingness to travel as required and to operate flexibly across a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
