Finance Executive

Job Summary:

The Finance Executive plays a vital role in supporting the factory and business finance functions at ITC Limited's India Tobacco Division. This position focuses on ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely financial reporting, while partnering with operations and commercial teams to drive financial discipline and provide valuable analytical insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
• Drive month-end closing processes, including provisioning, expense booking, and commercial accounting.
• Ensure compliance with GST Act, TDS Act, and relevant statutory requirements through thorough knowledge of Basics T Codes, PO Checking, and SAP transactions.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization and asset verification processes.
• Support financial analysis, monitor costs, conduct audits, and ensure internal control compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate accurate financial transactions and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, reconciliations, and commercial accounting.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS, with a focus on statutory compliance and fixed asset accounting.
• Hands-on experience using SAP for finance transactions and reporting.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
• B.Com with CMA (Inter) preferred; B.Com with M.Com or MBA (Finance) also acceptable.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts, especially in commercial accounting and month-end closing activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex financial data effectively.
