Summary:
The Head of Technology will lead the strategic use of technology to improve
the quality, scale, and measurability of programs for persons with
intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Head Technology will ensure
that technology is not just operational support, but a core enabler of impact,
inclusion, and innovation across the organization. As JVF integrates its
programs and expands Disha nationally, this role will ensure that data systems
are not fragmented, but structured in a way that supports program quality,
decision-making, and tracking of impact across both internal delivery and
external partners.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Digital Transformation
Lead JVF’s technology vision and roadmap, aligning digital initiatives with
the organisation’s long-term strategy for inclusion and scale.
Drive the transition from fragmented systems to a unified, scalable, and
data-driven technology ecosystem.
Identify and implement innovative, cost-effective technology solutions
tailored to the needs of the disability sector.
Platform Development & Systems Integration
Design and implement a technology platform to support program delivery, data
management, and reporting.
Ensure interoperability across departments (programs, HR, finance, etc.) to
enable seamless data flow and reduce duplication.
Build scalable solutions to support Program expansion across geographies.
Operational Efficiency & Process Digitization
Streamline workflows by digitizing key processes to improve efficiency and
reduce manual effort across teams.
Introduce tools and systems that enhance productivity, collaboration, and
program effectiveness.
Continuously evaluate and improve system performance, usability, and adoption.
Data Infrastructure & Insights Enablement
Establish robust data architecture, including data storage, integration, and
reporting systems.
Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, security, and
accessibility.
Enable real-time dashboards and automated reporting systems to support
decision-making across all levels.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
Work closely with program teams and support functions HR, Finance, MEL to co-create technology solutions aligned with their needs.
Build strong internal adoption by driving training, change management, and
user enablement initiatives.
Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating organisational needs
into
effective technology interventions.
External Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
Identify and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and
partners.
Ensure effective delivery, cost optimization, and adherence to SLAs across all
technology engagements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the non-profit and disability sectors.
Monitoring, Performance & Continuous Improvement
Define and track KPIs related to system adoption, efficiency gains, and
technology impact.
Regularly review performance of systems and initiatives, and drive continuous
improvement.
Present technology updates, insights, and recommendations to the leadership
team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information
Systems, or related field ( MBA )
15+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5+ years in a
leadership position
Experience in building and scaling digital platforms; non-profit/social sector
experience is an advantage
