Senior Manager Project
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager Project will lead the concept to commissioning of
electrical projects, ensuring successful execution through effective site
coordination and relationship building with clients. This role is pivotal in
managing project financials, overseeing site activities, and adhering to
safety norms, ultimately contributing to the organization's growth and
success.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects from concept to
commissioning.

Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, supervisors, and
back-office teams.

Monitor project financials through ongoing job forecasting, including
effective billing, measurements, and material planning.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants to
foster effective communication and collaboration.

Ensure adherence to project timelines by scheduling work with a clear
awareness of deadlines.

Enforce safety norms as per the customer safety policy, ensuring a safe
working environment on-site.

Report daily to the Director on project progress, site activities, and any
arising issues.
Requirements:

Graduate Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of relevant
experience in managing large-scale projects, or a Diploma in Electrical
Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in handling scalable industrial electrical projects
with a clear understanding of how to execute various project types.

Proficiency in reading electrical designs, SLD, and technical
specifications, particularly in 66kV Switchyard and substation erection and
commissioning.

Strong computer skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience in cost-saving approaches with daily monitoring of site-related
expenses.

Knowledge of EHS/OHSAS standards, ensuring safety and compliance on-site.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal
abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered an added advantage.

Proven leadership qualities with a strong sense of ownership and
decisiveness.
- Ability to handle crises and emergencies effectively on-site.

Experience leading a team of 3 to 5 Site Engineers across different projects
for various day-to-day activities.
