Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects that enhance the safety and efficiency of our communities. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure project adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during construction phases, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance project performance and sustainability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and material properties.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or PMP certification.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable design practices.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects and public sector work.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior engineers.
