We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Assistant Business Manager
(ABM) – Supply Development to lead supply acquisition and partner management
across an assigned region.
The ABM will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the vehicle supply network, driving transporter engagement, managing key supply relationships, ensuring operational excellence to meet market demand.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, vendor management skills, operational planning capability, and the ability to work in a high-growth logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Network Development
Drive expansion of truck supply across the assigned territory by onboarding
fleet owners, transporters, aggregators, and brokers.
Build a sustainable and reliable vehicle supply pipeline to meet business
demand.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key transport partners.
Identify new supply opportunities and expand market coverage.
Vendor & Transporter Management
Lead commercial negotiations with truck owners and transporters regarding
pricing, payment terms, service quality, and contracts.
Manage end-to-end transporter lifecycle including onboarding, documentation,
compliance, renewals, and performance management.
Ensure timely execution of agreements and contractual obligations.
Resolve escalations related to vendors, documentation, payments, and
operations.
Operations & Capacity Planning
Ensure timely placement of vehicles based on customer demand and operational
priorities.
Monitor fleet utilization and optimize vehicle availability across markets.
Coordinate with operations, sales, and central supply teams for smooth
execution.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational KPIs.
Market Development
Understand regional freight trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor
activities.
Develop market intelligence to improve procurement strategy.
Build strong relationships with transport associations, fleet operators, and
logistics partners.
Support RFQ management and procurement activities for large projects.
Reporting & MIS
Track key supply metrics including vehicle onboarding, utilization, partner
productivity, turnaround time, and SLA compliance.
Prepare and present MIS reports and business updates.
Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
