Quality Manager (Civil & Utilities)
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager for Civil & Utilities will be responsible for ensuring the
highest standards of quality are maintained throughout all phases of civil and
utility projects. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the
integrity of our projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of construction sites, materials, and
processes to maintain quality assurance.

Collaborate with project teams to identify quality issues and provide
solutions that enhance project performance.

Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a
quality-first culture.

Prepare and present quality reports to management, outlining findings,
recommendations, and improvements.

Coordinate with external agencies for third-party quality audits and
inspections as needed.

Assess and manage risks related to quality to minimize project delays and
ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related
field.

At least 15 years of experience in quality management within the civil and
utilities sector.

Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in
quality management.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools for documentation and
reporting.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to identify
discrepancies and quality concerns.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact
effectively with stakeholders.

Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and drive change within the
organization.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Quality Management such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or similar.
