Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project-specific EHS Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws, client standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) before critical activities.
• Carry out daily site safety inspections and safety audits.
• Monitor work at height, excavation, lifting operations, confined space entry, electrical safety, hot work, and permit-to-work systems.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and periodic safety training for workers and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, mock drills, and fire safety management.
• Maintain statutory records, safety documentation, inspection reports, and compliance registers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly EHS reports for clients and project management.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities on EHS matters.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across the project.
