QS & Costing Consultant
Job Summary:
The QS & Costing Consultant will play a crucial role in delivering
cost-effective solutions for our interior fit-out projects. With over 10 years
of experience, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate cost
estimates, manage budgets efficiently, and ensure the financial success of
projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project requirements and develop detailed cost estimates to support
the bidding process.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures throughout the lifecycle, ensuring
financial control and compliance.

Collaborate with project managers and contractors to review and negotiate
contracts for materials, equipment, and labor.

Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting
potential cost savings and budget variances.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress against budgets and
identify any financial implications.

Provide expert advice on value engineering and cost-saving measures during
project execution.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all financial transactions and
project changes.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related
field.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and cost
management, specifically within the interior fit-out sector.

Strong understanding of various construction materials, methods, and
building codes.

Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work

- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS) is a plus.

- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
