Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
Assess personal loan applications through detailed credit underwriting.
Analyze applicant financials, income stability, banking behavior, credit
bureau reports (CIBIL), and repayment capacity.
Approve or recommend loan proposals within delegated authority.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, RBI regulations, and risk
guidelines.
Maintain high-quality underwriting standards while achieving defined
turnaround times (TAT).
Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and early warning signals.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Collections for seamless
loan processing and disbursement.
Review policy exceptions and recommend mitigants wherever applicable.
Conduct portfolio reviews and suggest policy improvements based on market
trends.
Support audit, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections.
Coach and mentor junior credit officers, ensuring consistent underwriting
quality.
