Credit Analyst - Wholesale Banking
Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst in Wholesale Banking plays a crucial role in assessing and
managing credit risk for clients with credit exposure exceeding 100 crores.
This position directly impacts the organization’s profitability and client
relationships by ensuring credit quality and driving informed lending
decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate credit applications and conduct comprehensive financial statement
analysis to determine creditworthiness.

Monitor and manage existing client portfolios, ensuring proactive
identification of risks and opportunities for credit enhancement.

Prepare detailed credit proposals and present findings to senior management
for approval.

Collaborate with relationship managers to understand client needs and
provide analytical support in structuring deals.

Conduct industry research and market analysis to stay informed about
economic trends and competitive landscape.

Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
to mitigate risks.

Assist in the development of credit scoring models and tools to improve the
efficiency of credit decision-making.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in credit analysis within wholesale
banking or similar financial services environment.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk
assessment techniques.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex
financial information clearly and effectively.

Proficiency in credit analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite,
particularly Excel.

frameworks.
