Senior Manager – Central & Support Function Audits
Based at Mumbai, the Senior Manager – Central & Support Function Audits
will drive the execution of our annual audit universe. This
high-visibility role involves leading independent evaluations of core
financial operations, corporate support frameworks, and special
cross-functional processes. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior
management, ensuring robust risk mitigation across Treasury, Finance,
Compliance, Risk, Human Resources, and Secretarial functions. The ideal
candidate will bring a masterful, up-to-date understanding of all
applicable financial, statutory, and regulatory laws.
Key Responsibilities

RBAP Execution & Coverage:
Plan, lead and execute comprehensive process and financial audits across
central and corporate support functions in strict alignment with the
approved Risk-Based Audit Plan (RBAP):
| Treasury Audit |
Evaluating liquidity management, fund deployment, investment
portfolios, borrowing programs, and Asset-Liability Management (ALM)
compliance.

| Accounts & Finance Audit |
Reviewing internal financial controls (IFC), financial reporting
integrity (Ind AS), tax compliances, and general ledger
reconciliation integrity.

| Compliance & Risk Audit |
Assessing the efficacy of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
framework, credit/operational risk models, and adherence to
statutory mandates.
|
| Secretarial & Governance Audit |
Ensuring rigorous compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI LODR
regulations, Board management processes, and corporate statutory
filings.
|
| HR & Payroll Audit |
Evaluating human resource governance, payroll processing integrity,
benefits administration, employee data confidentiality, and
adherence to labor laws.
|
| Other Corporate Audits |
Covering administrative, procurement, or peripheral support units as
earmarked under the RBAP scope.

Ensure maintenance of quality work paper, evidence and ensuring
executing the audit as per the IIA Standards.

Thematic Audits:
Design and execute targeted, need-based thematic reviews across various
business units and verticals to deeply check process adherence, identify
structural leakages, and ensure uniformity in control implementation.

Regulatory & Statutory Safeguarding:
Serve as a subject matter expert on evolving regulatory frameworks.
Seamlessly interpret and embed complex guidelines—such as RBI’s
Scale-Based Regulations (SBR), Master Directions, FEMA, and statutory
provisions—into targeted audit programs.

Process Risk & Gap Analysis:
Thoroughly evaluate complex process workflows, identify latent
operational or legal control gaps, and design sharp, business-enabling
corrective actions.

Stakeholder Management:
Partner directly with functional heads (CFO, Chief Risk Officer, Head of
Compliance, CHRO, and Company Secretary) to communicate audit insights
and drive a proactive culture of compliance.

Executive Reporting:
Draft high-quality, precise, and scannable audit reports and
presentations for the Audit Committee of the Board (ACB) and Senior
Leadership.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
| Education |
Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). Additional
certifications such as CS (Company Secretary), CIA or FRM will be a
distinct advantage.

| Experience |
Minimum 5 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in Central
function - Internal Audit, Risk Advisory or Statutory Compliance.
|
| Industry Background |
Core experience within a renowned NBFC or a leading Bank is mandatory.
Direct experience auditing treasury or corporate support functions is
highly preferred.
