Job Description
:
KPMG is currently seeking an GDC Audit Senior Associate to join our
Intelligent Tools Team within the Audit Transformation organization to
assist in projects supporting the build-out of capabilities that optimize
the way data and technology is used to perform audit procedures.
The Intelligent Tools Team is responsible for generating the strategy,
prioritizing and accelerating the development/deployment of capabilities
that enable KPMG to lead the profession in tech-enabled audit performance.
Intelligent Tools Team professionals work with our Industry Transformation
Leads (ITLs), Industry Automation Leaders, Audit Technology Alliance
(ATA), Center for Audit Solutions (CAS), Data & Automation Solutions
Hub (DASH), Department of Professional Practice (DPP) and Global Audit
Methodology Group (GAMG), which provides professional to develop their
professional relationships across the KPMG network. Intelligent Tools Team
professionals are exposed to diverse projects which afford the opportunity
to expand their technical skills related to audit technology tools, PCAOB
and AICPA standards and audit methodology, and to improve their project
management skills.
Roles & responsibilities
•
Assisting in the development and deployment of extracting, understanding,
and using data and algorithmic approaches to create and evaluate audit
evidence as a subject matter expert
•
Collaborating with engagement teams on their delivery strategy towards a
data driven audit driving audit quality and a competitive client
experience
•
Assisting in measuring success as it relates to the above (adoption,
enablement & directives)
•
Maintaining a work schedule with substantial overlap with team hours to
facilitate daily, real-time collaboration on solution design and
development.
Educational qualifications

Minimum qualification required
•
Proficient or willing to be proficient in PowerBI, Alteryx, DataSnipper
and/or coding methods
•

Audit Senior Associate with at least 2 years of experience
•
Passion and excitement for innovation and audit technology and
contributing to audit quality improvement initiatives, specifically as
it relates to Software Auditing Tools and Data & Analytics
•
Recent audit experience in utilizing technology, including software audit
tools, on audit engagements
•
Proficient or willing to be proficient in PowerBI, Alteryx, DataSnipper
and/or coding methods
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Self-confidence to work collaboratively and independently in a
culture-rich and fast-change environment
•
Recognition for exceptional leadership, project management, client service
and relationship building skills

MindBridge exposure.
