Lead Design Engineer – Civil & Structural

 

• Prepare civil & structural designs for AIS/GIS substations, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Design RCC and steel structures, equipment foundations, gantries, grading, and drainage systems.
• Prepare design calculations, DBRs, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Review vendor drawings and material submittals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site teams, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Provide engineering support during construction and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural preferred).
• 10+ years of civil & structural design experience in substation (AIS/GIS), transmission, or power EPC projects.
• Hands-on experience in RCC & steel structure design, foundations, gantries, grading, and drainage.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, and MS Office . Knowledge of Revit/Tekla is an advantage.

Must Have:

• Mandatory substation design experience (AIS/GIS/EHV).
• Experience with vendor drawing review, BOQ preparation, DBRs, and interdisciplinary coordination.
