Senior Design Engineer – Transmission Line

Key Responsibilities

• Execute design engineering for EHV/HV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
• Perform route selection, route optimization, tower spotting, line profiling, and sag & tension analysis .
• Develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective transmission line designs.
• Coordinate with survey teams for route surveys, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, design calculations, technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Coordinate tower design, foundation systems, gantry structures, and structural assessments.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, IEEE, utility standards, client specifications, and internal quality procedures .

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred).
• Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered with relevant transmission line design experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in EHV/HV Overhead Transmission Line Design .
• Hands-on experience with PLS-CADD or PLS-TOWER (at least one software is mandatory).
• Experience in tower spotting, line profiling, route selection, and sag & tension analysis .
• Knowledge of tower loading, foundation coordination, and structural assessments .
• Experience preparing engineering calculations and technical documentation.
