Design / Engineering Manager – Rail Systems (Telecommunications) | Dubai,

We are seeking an experienced
Design / Engineering Manager
with
15–18+ years of railway/metro telecommunications engineering experience
to lead multidisciplinary design and engineering activities for large-scale
Rail, Metro, APM, or Tram
projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams for
Rail Telecommunications, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Traction Power,
Depot Equipment, and Guideway systems
.

Manage end-to-end design, review, approval, and integration of telecom
systems including
Fiber Optic Networks, IP/MPLS, CCTV, PAS, PIDS, TETRA/LTE/FRMCS,
Telephony, Access Control, Master Clock, Data Centers, and Network
Management Systems
.

Ensure compliance with
RTA/Dubai regulations
, international railway standards (
EN 50126/50128/50129, IEC, ISO
), and project specifications.

Oversee system integration, interface management, RAMS coordination,
cybersecurity, procurement support, testing & commissioning, and
O&M documentation.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory
authorities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or
related discipline); Master's degree preferred.

15–18+ years
of railway telecom design and engineering experience, with
5+ years in a Design/Engineering Manager role
.

Strong expertise in
Rail Telecom Systems, System Integration, RAMS, Interface Management,
Technical Bid Evaluation, and Design Management
.

Experience on
Metro, Rail, APM, or Tram
projects;
UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred
.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary
coordination skills.
