Job Description – FinTech Hunter 

Location: NJ–NY Area / Bay Area (USA)
Role: Business Development Director – FinTech (Hunter)
Reporting To: Vice President


Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing FinTech Hunter to drive new business acquisition across the Financial Services & FinTech ecosystem in North America.

This is a pure individual contributor role, focused on net new logo acquisition, strategic deal closures, and expanding the organization’s footprint within financial institutions, and FinTech companies.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong hunter mindset, deep industry connects, and a proven ability to sell engineering/technology solutions in the FinTech space.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle with a strong focus on hunting new logos
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities in the FinTech / Financial Services domain
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects across target markets

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a territory and account acquisition strategy
  • Position technology solutions/software & platform solutions aligned to client business needs
  • Drive large deal pursuits, proposals, and negotiations

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong CXO and senior stakeholder relationships
  • Understand client priorities and align solutions to deliver business impact

Collaboration

  • Work closely with solutioning, pre-sales, and delivery teams for deal conversion
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10–18 years of experience in sales/business development within FinTech or Financial Services
  • Proven track record in net new logo acquisition (hunting)
  • Strong experience in selling Technology services & Solutions /IT services
  • Deep understanding of Financial Services, and FinTech landscape
  • Established network within target accounts and decision-makers
