We are seeking a creative, trend-driven, and commercially minded Fashion
Designer – Ready-to-Wear (RTW) to develop innovative and marketable
collections for women's fashion. The ideal candidate should have strong
design skills, fabric knowledge, and experience in transforming concepts
into commercially successful products while maintaining the brand's identity
and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop seasonal and capsule collections for the RTW category.
Create original designs, sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings.
Research global fashion trends, colors, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes.
Develop commercially viable designs aligned with brand positioning and
customer preferences.
Create detailed tech packs and design specifications for production.
Work closely with pattern makers, sample tailors, and production teams
during product development.
Review samples and conduct fittings to ensure desired fit and quality.
Make design modifications based on fit sessions and management feedback.
Monitor product development timelines to ensure timely completion of
collections.
Monitor international fashion trends and competitor collections.
Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and emerging
opportunities.
Translate trend forecasts into commercially successful designs.
Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and production departments.
Ensure designs are technically feasible and production friendly.
Support the factory during pre-production and bulk production stages.
Maintain consistency with the brand's aesthetic and identity.
Contribute ideas for new product categories and design innovations.
Participate in collection presentations and design reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design.
Strong portfolio showcasing RTW collections.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and fashion design software.
Experience
Minimum 3 – 8 years of experience in RTW fashion design.
Experience in women's fashion, luxury RTW, designer wear, or contemporary
fashion brands.
Experience in garment manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
