Job Title: Project & Maintenance Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project & Maintenance Manager to lead plant
engineering, projects, maintenance, utilities, and continuous improvement
initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have
extensive experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Nutraceutical, or
Pharmaceutical industries, with a proven track record in greenfield and
brownfield projects, asset reliability, energy optimization, and operational
excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management

Lead end-to-end execution of Greenfield and Brownfield projects from
concept, design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and
handover.

Manage CAPEX planning, project scheduling, resource allocation, and cost
control to ensure timely project completion.

Execute infrastructure development including utilities, HVAC systems,
cleanrooms, production facilities, and packaging lines.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
for project execution.

Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and regulatory
requirements.
Maintenance & Engineering

Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to
maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with TPM and
reliability-centered maintenance practices.

Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through
engineering excellence and process optimization.

Manage engineering teams, providing leadership, training, and performance
development.

Ensure availability and efficient utilization of utilities including power,
HVAC, compressed air, water systems, and process utilities.
Operational Excellence

Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives to reduce
operational costs.

Implement continuous improvement projects focused on productivity
enhancement, cost reduction, and process optimization.

Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Poka-Yoke implementation
for quality and operational improvements.

Support validation activities including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ for equipment and
facilities.
Vendor & Compliance Management

Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and vendor selection for projects and
maintenance requirements.

Manage contractor performance, service agreements, and procurement
activities.

Ensure compliance with WHO-GMP, EHS standards, quality systems, and
regulatory requirements.

Handle audits, inspections, and statutory approvals related to engineering
and projects.
Desired Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E. in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical,
Instrumentation, or related discipline).

15+ years of experience in Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, and Utilities
Management.

Strong exposure to FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Nutraceutical, or
Pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.

Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, MS Project, TPM, OEE, and project management
tools.
