Job Title:	Manager - Project Sales (Panel Products)
Business:	Laminate

Reporting To:	Regional Sales Manager

Role Objective

The Manager – Project Sales will be responsible for driving the sales of pre-laminated panels of various innovative first-time technologies through project-based engagements. The role focuses on developing business opportunities with contractors, OEMs, and interior contractors, while nurturing long-term relationships that ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. The incumbent will act as a key link between the organization and project stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery, responsiveness, and customer delight.

Job Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Achievement

• Deliver revenue and volume targets for panel products in assigned territories/projects.
• Actively pursue new business leads through contractors, OEMs, and project-based customers.
• Develop account penetration strategies for large contractors and OEMs.
• Ensure pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and periodic sales reporting.
• Help create a separate channel for selling panels through a Direct dealer/distributor network.

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Engage with interior contractors, project managers, and decision-makers to ensure product specification in upcoming projects.
• Identify new segments and customer bases for panel product applications.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to influence decision-making.

Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key contractors, OEMs, and influencers.
• Ensure consistent engagement and follow-up to drive repeat orders.
• Manage escalations effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Competitive Mapping & Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activity (pricing, promotions, product features, and supply chain efficiency).
• Gather and share on-ground insights with the leadership team for strategy formulation.
• Suggest product or service improvements based on market observations.

Customer Delight & Service Excellence

• Ensure timely delivery of material by coordinating with supply chain/logistics.
• Proactively update customers on order status, delivery timelines, and any possible delays.
• Respond swiftly to queries, complaints, and service requests to build customer loyalty.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and technical support teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Provide structured feedback to product development teams regarding evolving customer needs.
