Lathe Operator
Job Summary:
The Lathe Operator plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process by
ensuring precision machining of components essential for the sugar and spare
part industries. With a focus on quality and efficiency, this position

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate lathe machines to produce high-quality components
according to technical specifications.

Perform reshelling, grooving, and various machining tasks on sugar mill
rollers to ensure optimal functionality.

Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to organizational
quality standards using precision measuring instruments.

Maintain and troubleshoot lathe equipment to minimize downtime and ensure
consistent production output.

Collaborate with team members to develop efficient machining processes and
improve production workflows.

Document production data and maintain equipment logs for quality assurance
and compliance purposes.

Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment within
the facility.
Requirements:
- ITI qualification in a relevant field.

Must have 10-12 years of hands-on experience in lathe operation within the
sugar or spare part manufacturing industry.

Proven experience with machining works such as reshelling and grooving of
sugar mill rollers.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and machining principles.
- Ability to operate various lathe machines and tools effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well
as in a team environment.

- Experience with CNC lathe operations and programming.
