Machinist

Job Summary:

The Machinist position is crucial to our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in all machined components. With a focus on lathe, milling, and CNC operations, this role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our projects and enhance production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines to create precision parts.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute machining activities accurately.
• Perform setups for machining and ensure machines are calibrated for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined components to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
• Utilize dynamic balancing machines and other equipment to ensure proper machining processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10-12 years of hands-on experience in machining environments.
• Proficiency in operating lathe, milling, radial drill, CNC lathe, and EDM machines.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and machining techniques.
• Familiarity with hydraulic press, press brake, plano millers, and wire cut machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced CNC programming and setup.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and precision measurement tools.
• Prior experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
