E&I Manager - Sugar Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced E&I Manager to lead our engineering and
instrumentation team within the sugar manufacturing sector. This pivotal role
will drive innovation and operational excellence, ensuring the successful
implementation of electrical and instrumentation projects while contributing
to our growth in the African market.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical and instrumentation
projects in sugar manufacturing facilities.

Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project
delivery and quality outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies
that enhance operational performance.

Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring
adherence to best practices and safety protocols.

Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to optimize
electrical and instrumentation systems.

Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
to enhance operational reliability.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or
a related field.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation
management, specifically within the sugar manufacturing industry.

Proven expertise in managing large-scale engineering projects with
successful outcomes.

Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and instrumentation
practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to
motivate and develop staff.

Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all
levels.

Willingness to relocate to Africa and adapt to diverse cultural
environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.

Experience with automation and control systems specific to sugar
manufacturing.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental standards in the
African region.

A track record of successful process improvement initiatives within the
industry.
- Fluency in French or Portuguese would be an advantage.
