Job Description – Sales Manager / Sales Engineer

About the Company

Modern Plastic Industry LLC (MPI), a part of the Al Shirawi Group, is one of the leading manufacturers of plastic piping systems in the UAE. The company manufactures UPVC, CPVC, PP-R, HDPE piping systems and fittings used in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in Piping Systems / Building Materials within the UAE market. The candidate should have an established network with MEP consultants, contractors, developers, and government authorities in Abu Dhabi and should be capable of handling project sales and business development independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across Abu Dhabi.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry to order closure.
• Develop relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and distributors.
• Get MPI products approved and specified in upcoming construction projects.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor competitor activities and identify new project opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for project execution and customer support.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE sales experience in Piping Systems, Plastic Pipes, Plumbing Products, Building Materials, MEP Products, or Construction Materials.
• Strong network with consultants, contractors, developers, and government authorities in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience in project sales, specification selling, and business development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
