Role Objective

We are looking for an experienced leader with deep expertise in manufacturing operations, and supply chain management in Solar domain. The incumbent will be responsible for scaling solar manufacturing operations while driving operational excellence across production, planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and quality functions.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solar manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
• Drive capacity planning, production scheduling, productivity improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Establish and implement best-in-class manufacturing processes, SOPs, and quality systems.
• Lead greenfield/brownfield plant setup projects, including facility planning, equipment selection, commissioning, and ramp-up.
• Develop robust demand forecasting and supply planning processes to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Drive cost optimization, inventory efficiency, and working capital improvements.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability.

• Business Leaders, Supply Chain, Internal Finance, HR and Compliance Teams - To ensure seamless coordination and alignment
• Vendors / Regulatory Authorities - For improvement of quality, cost and delivery terms
• External customers - For managing various stakeholders, namely vendors

Qualification & Experience

Work Experience	Qualification & Skills
Essential 10 – 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations and supply chain management, with significant exposure to the solar industry.	Essential Strong understanding of solar modules, cells, inverters, batteries, energy storage systems (ESS), or related renewable energy products.
Knowledge/ Skills	Essential Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch.
Education	Essential B. Tech Desirable MBA
