We are looking for someone to set up and lead the B2C solar business for the North & East geography. This is a hands-on, on-ground role responsible for building the channel partner network, directing and mentoring a large field team, and ensuring consistent execution across a wide, largely under-organized market.
• Build and scale the B2C solar business across the North & East geography from the ground up.
• Develop and manage a network of channel partners across Tier 2 towns and rural markets to drive lead generation and sales.
• Lead, direct and be visibly present with a ~40-member field team, ensuring action and accountability on the ground.
• Travel extensively across the region to build relationships, monitor channel partner performance and unblock execution issues.
• Own the end-to-end customer journey — from lead to installation to after-sales support — treating each sale as a project, not a one-time product transaction.
• Coordinate with third-party installation partners to ensure quality execution while retaining full ownership of the customer relationship, warranty and support commitments on behalf of Moglix.
• Build market presence and brand credibility for Moglix in a category where trust and after-sales reliability are key differentiators against local, unorganized competition.
• Partner with leadership to define and refine the go-to-market approach as the business scales toward its 12–15 month growth targets.
• 15+ years of experience, ideally with a background in engineering.
• Prior experience in the solar industry is strongly preferred
• Alternatively, experience in consumer-facing, distribution-led, and/or installation-intensive businesses will be considered
• Demonstrated experience managing large field teams (40+) through a layered/multi-level reporting structure.
• Strong channel-building and distribution management experience, with comfort operating in Tier 2/Tier 3 and rural markets.
• Willingness and enthusiasm for extensive travel and an on-ground, high-visibility working style.
