Assistant Manager – Pricing & Lead Time in the QPM team is responsible
for leading
Molex's global commercial excellence initiatives in supplier pricing
governance and lead
time governance. The role ensures effective pricing discipline, lead time
compliance,
and high-quality SAP master data (PIR) to support business continuity and
operational
excellence. Working with a global scope from Bangalore, partners closely with
Procurement, Global and Regional Category Teams, IT, and Business Stakeholders
to
drive transformation through automation, analytics, and process
standardization across
the end-to-end process. The role is accountable for delivering sustainable
business
value by strengthening cross functional collaboration, improving data
governance,
enabling informed decision-making, and delivering sustainable value.
Our Team
This role is part of the Global Procurement organization within Molex,
operating as a
core element of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE). The QPM
team
works at the intersection of sourcing, NPD, cost engineering, analytics, and
digital
platforms to support Molex’s global businesses with scalable, data-driven
quotation and
pricing capabilities
What You Will Do
Build and lead a global Pricing & Leadtime Management team that
delivers
consistent, Accurate pricing and lead-time outcomes across regions and
material
groups.
Foster a Performance-Based Management (PBM) culture, developing accountable
teams where leaders act as coaches and mentors with a strong contribution
mindset.
Establish and govern global pricing and lead-time disciplines.
Partner cross-functionally to deliver analytics and negotiation support.
Lead and ensure completeness & accurate maintenance and updates of
Purchasing
Info Records (PIRs), lead times, and pricing within SAP systems following
supplier
negotiations.
Collaborate closely with Stakeholders to gather business requirements and
translate
them into actionable analytics and insights for strategic decision-making.
Establish Business dashboards, reports, and analytical models to drive
procurement
performance and optimization.
Drive initiatives enabling enterprise-wide data frameworks.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related
discipline.
Extensive experience (8-12 years) leading global Procurement, quotation or
pricing functions.
Proven ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
Strong expertise in pricing & Lead-time governance
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
SAP and Business Analytical Knowledge
What Will Put You Ahead
Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related
discipline.
Experience in similar Procurement pricing in a global manufacturing company.
Experience owning digital quotation or pricing platforms.
Understanding of Principle-Based Management (PBM).
Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills, both verbal
& written
Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously
Ability to lead and manage a team in a matrixed organization
