Job Summary:
The Home Loan Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding prospective
homebuyers through the mortgage application process, ensuring they find the
best loan options tailored to their financial situations. This position not
only drives sales for our mortgage products but also fosters relationships
with clients by providing excellent service and expert advice.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate customer financial status and credit history to determine suitable
home loan products.

Assist clients in the completion of mortgage applications and documentation
required for loan processing.

Educate borrowers on the loan process, including requirements, timelines,
and available options.

Collaborate with loan processors and underwriters to ensure smooth and
timely processing of mortgage applications.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry regulations and lending guidelines
to provide accurate information to clients.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high
level of customer satisfaction.

Manage and track loan pipelines, providing regular updates to clients and
management on status.
Requirements:

Proven experience in mortgage lending or home loan sales, ideally for at
least 2 years.

Strong understanding of mortgage products, services, and the loan
origination process.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
explain complex concepts clearly.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client
files simultaneously.

Proficient in using mortgage software and CRM systems with basic
mathematical skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced
environment.

High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a
related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active mortgage loan origination license.
