Field Officer

Job Summary:

The Field Officer at our Dahej plant plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations and ensuring safety compliance within the facility. This position directly impacts production efficiency and contributes to maintaining the high standards our organization is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily operational activities within the Dahej plant to ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and systems to identify any potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with various teams to streamline processes and enhance production efficiency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety training programs for staff.
• Gather, analyze, and report data on operational performance and safety incidents to management.
• Act as a liaison between field personnel and management to address any concerns and provide updates on critical operational matters.
• Implement corrective actions based on inspection findings and compliance audits to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a field operations or safety role within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
• Proficient in using safety management software and MS Office applications.
• Willingness to work in a plant setting and conduct field inspections under various conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificates in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Prior experience in the chemical or petroleum industry is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
