Job Description

Position Title: Full Stack Developer (Java, Spring Boot, Angular) Department: Technologies 1. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to support critical application migration, modernization, and security remediation initiatives within our IT Delivery team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating legacy applications to modern architectures, enhancing performance, and identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities in line with industry standards. The role requires expertise in full-stack development along with hands-on experience in secure coding practices, AI-assisted development tools, and vulnerability remediation frameworks (OWASP). Principal Accountabilities • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. • Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements. • Ensure application performance, uptime, scalability, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design. • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continuous improvement. Front-End & Back-End Development • Develop responsive and cross-browser-compatible applications using Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS/JS. • Build and maintain robust back-end services using Spring Boot and Java, focusing on RESTful API development. • Contribute to hybrid and mobile-friendly application development for seamless user experiences. AI-Assisted Development & Modern Tooling • Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance coding productivity, optimize solutions, and accelerate development cycles. • Utilize AI-based tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation. • Explore and integrate AI/ML-based features or APIs where applicable to improve application intelligence and user experience. Security & Compliance (OWASP) • Apply secure coding practices aligned with OWASP Top 10 standards to mitigate common vulnerabilities. • Perform code reviews with a focus on application security, data protection, and vulnerability prevention. • Ensure compliance with secure authentication, authorization, and data encryption practices. ? Unique Knowledge & Skills • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering • 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the financial industry or related fields. • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering clean, maintainable and efficient code. • Hands-on experience with Mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven or Gradle. • Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit for Java and Jasmine/Karma for Angular. • Exposure to end-to-end testing tools like Protractor for Angular-based applications. • A solid understanding of application security principles and practices. • Experience or exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and platforms. • Solid understanding of application security principles. • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies. • Experience implementing secure coding standards, authentication/authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
