Job Description  

JD for SAP Person An SAP PP (Production Planning) person needs to designs, configures, and optimizes manufacturing processes. Map business requirements into the SAP system, manage master data, streamline MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and integrate production with sales, supply chain, and shop floor systems. Process Mapping & Requirement Analysis: Translate complex business needs into functional specifications and configure SAP PP modules (e.g., Bills of Materials, Routings, Integration with Production Planning and Work Centers). Planning & Execution: Implement Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Management, and Capacity Planning to ensure optimal resource and inventory utilization. System Integration: Align the PP module seamlessly with other SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM). Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve system errors, analyze production bottlenecks, and create workarounds for post-implementation issues. Training & Documentation: Draft user manuals, conduct testing and validation workshops, and train end-users for smooth system rollouts. Technical Expertise: Strong background in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems, specifically within the manufacturing and production lifecycle. Cross-Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with integrating SAP with shop floor control systems, such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
